Sadness Time has come where leaves are falling and wind is getting colder again. I thought it would be cool if you'd share 3 things you love and 3 things you hate about Winter.
3 things I like about winter
Relaxing evenings at home with a good movie and a cup of tea The fresh air that wakes you up immediately when stepping outside in the morning. A walk in the snowy forest - everything appears so quiet3 things I dislike about winter
Going to work when it's still dark and going home when it's already dark again not being able to drive by car if it has snowed heavily x-mas and artifical-we-are-happy-family-shit-behavior

+++ In november I will meet 2 good friends in germany and also watch a Lisa Gerrard concert +++ in december I will visit my best friend in Bristol, UK +++ My band Pure Inc.'s 3rd Studio album ist almost finished and will be released next year +++ My session band 69 Chambers is still recording +++ The sweden project with the band Netherbird will be released in November +++ I will teach someone getting into art photography +++ I will pickup my cam again myself.. more often!

I detest: having someone smaller than me get away with throwing a snowball at me so hard that it hurts; children; parents.
*The cosiness. When you're sitting somewhere at home or in cafe with friends or family and it's snowing outside and you feel wonderful.
*The beauty.
*Christmas time, making presents, decorating the house and so on.
Hate:
*Winter clothes
*It's getting dark very early and my parents don't want me to come back home late (late is already 9pm)
*It's easier for me to get sick in winter
Sitting by a fire place, sipping hot chocolate.
Snow days.
Getting warm under cosy blankets with my lover + watching a movie.
3 things I hate about winter:
You don't want to go anywhere out of the house if it's too cold.
Snowstorms that cause black outs.
Freezing my butt off waiting for the school bus.
1.) Halloween
2.) Thanksgiving
3.) Christmas
(more than 3 reasons) 4.) cold weather (nice change down here)
1.) sickness
2.) frost on the car
3.) winter clothes (summer clothes are prettier)
- drinking coffee while looking throughout the window (you appreciate it more when it's freezing outside)
- the cold that freshes my cheeks and make me feel alive.
- the stillness of all things when it snows, the silence.
Although :
- colds are such a drag, to sneeze and all the rest.
- when you've been waiting for hours for your bus, you've turned into an iceberg, to finally learn that no bus will come because of the snow (which means you'll have to make your way back home on foot, which also means you'll get forced to answer people walking the same way as you's silly questions such as :"brrrr freezin' isna ?" ("no, it's just an illusion")
- Christmas dinner. I'm kinda vegetarian, what my family cannot (don't wanna?) understand. So EVERY goddamn year they bite my nuts until I taste a macro bit of turkey/venison/boar (oh my... poor animals
the feeling of being able to snuggle into your warm pjs and a blanket.
not having to run my ac because im in texas
walking outside with my coffee and the first mornings chill hitting me.
dont like:
it not snowing because its texas
it raining alot instead while its cold out.
long drives by myself home from worl so i dont get to snuggle in the seat next to the driver and just relax to the music.

When the bus you need to go to work isnt running

I hate my immune system being low and I always get sick...and thats it really!

driving
being cold
christmas consumerism (working retail in the holiday season... ugh)

2. early in the morning when you're curled on your bed under a bunch of quilts and not being in the mood to get up

1. my creepy damn freaking cold hands (i swear i can almost freeze anything i touch)
2. i get sick a lot
3. getting everywhere late because of "love winter's" reason number 2
