It's time to renew my journal and here we go, the latest news:

The photo shooting with Celine is next weekend. We've defined some nice concepts and I hope it's gonna turn out great. The shooting themes vary from dusty dark to fashionable fancy. My excpectations are very high and also I've invested some money to get some better equipment.

New Equipment:

Umbrella Flash in a Softbox
Nikon Flash
Nikkor 105mm DC f/2 lense (crystal sharp portrait lens / difficult to handle below f/3.2)

I really thought it's about time to expand my horizon regarding photography. I think portrait photography is very challenging and I can't wait to learn more about it. I now know many things in theory, but still am a little nervous about the real things

In other news my band Pure inc.'s new album will be released at the end of august. Also we've put together a street team where you got the possibility to support the band with small promo activities. If you're interested please read more about it on our myspace profile [link]

From tomorrow on I'll be in Frankfurt on a business trip. Meeting some managers and supporting people with their IT issues and questions.

Oh and I recently read that the makers of Family Guy have signed a contraxt with FOX to continue until 2012 - YAY

Hi all,

I hope you all have been good boys and good girls while I've been away here
Well, I do have some news yes. I promised to pickup my cam more often and that is the case now, yes.
I met a wonderful model who's willing to give me a chance to try myself in portrait photography. It will be a concept work
with lots of planning. I'm very eager and will make as many test shootings as possible, before it's getting serious
It will happen - but I cannot provide any further details at the moment. I keep you posted!

Other than that I've modified the Border of my Photograph "The Dark Tree" - I did not like the kind of borders I added to my photos some years ago. So this is the reason why the dark tree might have appeared in your devWatch again

Hi all,

I thought its about the time to update my journal once again. I hope you all had nice holidays and a great new years party.

As 2008 will most probably be a busy year for myself I took things slowly and easy.
Eventhough I did not update my journal for a while I kept on reading all your nice messages and comments - thank you very much!!!
I am getting started with photography again and so you might see some new work very soon

The Drummer of Emperor will be the artist nailing my new tattoo.... sometime in 08.
