It took me Six months to take a worthy sequel to my "Traffic Lighting" shot (check => [link] )
As I announced in my Journal I went to the City to take some photographs I've carefully planned over weeks. And I have to say I am a bit proud of the outcome (can one say that?) Please check my Journal Entry about the upcoming Photographs of this Night Session - and stay tuned (journal entry => [link] )
This is a Tram-Station in Basel. I had the luck that the Trash was crowded and made my composition complete. Its good for the eyes to have something in the fore.. therefor the things in the background are as important since it guides your eyes over the entire photograph after you checked the fore.
There are so many details in this photo.. please check the full size version..
Technical Stuff:
------------------
cam: Nikon Coolpix 5000 + tripod shutter: 4s (ev +2.0) apperture: f/8.0 Adjustments: Only Contrast adjusted and dirt removed from the street
Very worthy sequel. Plus you've made almost simetrical... a nice touch
I agree with you entirely... the bin in the foreground adds a lot to the composition. The litter on the floor also.
I find the yellow reflections on the ceiling kind of distractive, because they draw more attention that the actual object casting the shadow... which is akward.
The greens of the tram are absolutely amazing.
If i had to choose between TL I and TL II i guess i'd go for the first one because the colors are warmer... and that works better for me if the shot is taken at night. But both are superbly done.
of course you can be proud of your work!
and you really should! because this is better then great.
the green colour looks awesome, and the composition.. so nice.
well done! keep them coming

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
