In the final scene of the Ring, Samara climbes out of the TV to scare the viewer to death. Since I have no super powers and cannot climbe out of TVs, I had to come up with another idea: The answer was "over-exposing"
The scenery shows a cow-hut at the edge of the forest which I infiltrated with my photo-equipment
Due to using an "artificial" white balance in "daylight" circumstances I was able to capture the photo with these blue hues.
In the beginning I wanted to keep my photos dark and grainy, but I changed my mind with this piece. However, it should still express a strong dark atmosphere.
Technical Stuff:
------------------ cam: Nikon Coolpix 5000 shutter: 1/4 apperture: f/4.0 w/b: Artificial Light photoshop: Levels adjusted & contrast fixed! comment: I put my cam to "matrix metering" to overexpose the window totally - its not edited
Holy crawling kittens batman! THis is great! The hues, and the contrast are awesome. THat pose is damn creepy as well (in fact so is the urine running down my legs). You are one hell of a photgrapher. Awesome work as usual> Damn I love this.
Amazing colors and perspective i realy love the pose and blue light comming from the back, i think it realy does express the feelings you were looking for it looks great this way, wonderfull work.

You find the coolest places to do photos around your home. The harsh texture of the wood works great for the ring as does the scraglly hair. The thing I like the most is the board that the left hand is on. The fact that it is seperate and at a different angle is great. It's amazing how such a little aspect can add or take away so much from a photo.
Did you use a tripod David? It seems kind of unlevel. Just being picky. Great shot man.
